My child has been attending Bright Star since he was 3 months old, and I cannot say enough nice things about the center and its staff. I love that I can track his entire day through an app, and I get fun photos of him daily. He looks forward to seeing his teachers and classmates every day, which makes it a little easier for me to leave him. They treat him like one of their own 🙂 i would recommend Bright Star to anyone!

Bright Star is an amazing place! Coming from a parent and staff member, this is the only place I would consider taking my child to. They treat all their staff wonderfully and accommodate to the best of their abilities. My child has been at two locations with BSEL and has succeeded so much! I was extremely nervous about putting my child in childcare and he’s been there since he was 6 weeks old. He has learned so many social skills, fine motor, gross motor, etc since being with Angel and Betsy, and the whole team of course! They truly work with your child to help them grow and learn. They use an app that they put in up-to-date updates throughout the day such as meals, potty/diapers, health checks, notes, and activities, as well photos and messages! The communication between staff and staff to parent is beyond amazing! Betsy, Trish, and Angel definitely prioritize safety, communication, cleanliness, and fun all while learning! I can’t thank BSEL enough for how great they are and how the owners and staff love the kids just like family! ❤️

Bright Star Early Learning is every parent’s childcare dream. The owner, managers, and staff are all truly wonderful. Whenever I leave my son, it does not matter who is working because all the staff are excellent and take great care of him. The food the daycare provides is REAL MEALS with fresh ingredients. The activities really challenge and teach the kids. My son has only been here a few months and he’s already speaking so many sentences compared to when we arrived. You can tell all the kids love it here. I recommend this place to anyone in the Towson/Baltimore/Parkville area. They have three locations, and are still growing. Love it here!

Although my daughter just started, I can absolutely say this is hands down the best place for any child. I was nervous for my daughter to start daycare because I didn't know how she was going to do without me(she's attached to my hip). Her very first day she joined the other children playing right away. I was able to watch her and see how she would do for the next hour. She told me bye-bye and was perfectly fine with me leaving (I kind of teared up). Great staff, great communication, and very accommodating with everything! If I could give a 10-star, I would.

Amazing staff! I can’t even begin to tell you what a relief it was to find Bright Star. We’ve been bringing our kids here for almost 2 years now. My youngest started at just 9 weeks old. The teachers, managers and owners are amazing. They treat the kids as if they were their own. We get updates & pictures throughout the day about how the kids are doing. They’re always doing crafts and activities with the kids. It really is like having extended family watching your kids. 10/10 recommend. They are the best!!

I can't say enough great things about Bright Star Early Learning (BSEL)....they are AMAZING. I happened upon them on Facebook in February 2019. At the time, my 18 month son was in an in-home daycare that loved him like family. They met most of his needs, but he was in front of the TV most of the time and the family wasn't very cooperative with having Infants & Toddlers visit to give him services. (My son was a 31 week preemie and at 18 months he was barely talking and not walking.) When I came across photos on Facebook, I saw that despite it being February, they had the children outside playing and enjoying the fresh air. That was what caught my attention at first, but then after looking over their website and reviews, I was finally understanding that, although my current daycare loved on my son and kept him safe, it was run in a way that wasn't setting him up to succeed.

When I first reached out to one of the owners, she was very straight forward...telling me exactly what to expect at their center. There were no tv's, lots of outside time when the weather allows it, multiple providers at any given time, an amazing app for parents that provides incredible info on each child (meals, snacks, diaper changes, naps and photos) and, most importantly, they were very open and welcoming to having Infants and Toddlers come to work with my son.

Switching to BSEL was the best decision I have made for my son. He has thrived there! All the providers are like family. They check in with us after hours if my son was sick or had a bad day. If I need any thoughts or opinions on things with my son, they are always available to give me advice. They truly care about each child and want the best for them.

As for some of the things parents may be looking for...they provide great meals for the children who are on regular food, they supply all the naptime supplies, they very rarely close on short notice (only 1 time since we have been there and it was to disinfect EVERYTHING when the stomach bug hit hard!) They do crafts and projects with the kids and celebrate birthdays and holidays. And the app is EVERYTHING! I love seeing all the updates throughout the day.

I would be happy to serve as a reference to anyone who has any questions or wants to know more. My family is truly blessed to have BSEL in our lives!

Betsy and Angel have been caring, supportive and love our kids like their own. Our daughter (5) has special needs. Bright Star has offered support and has gone above and beyond in learning ways to help with anything and to reinforce things we are working on at home/school. They fully include her and treat her as 'just one of the kids' -  which makes us so happy.  Our son (2) has picked up so many words and they both are learning new things all the time. I never have to think twice about my children's care while I'm at work. I'd highly recommend their services.

The best daycare around! From the teachers to the owners, the entire staff is kind and attentive. They allow you to track your child’s activities through an app and often include photos of your child enjoying their day. The facilities are very clean and safety is clearly a priority. I cannot say enough nice things about Bright Star!
