Bright Star Early Learning began in March 2013, founded by Elizabeth Rosiak & Angela Haught with a deep passion for nurturing and educating children in a safe, home-like environment. What started as a small in-home daycare with just eight children and two providers quickly grew due to our heartfelt commitment to families and our strong reputation in the community.
By 2019, we proudly opened our first center, expanding our capacity to serve more children from birth through age five. Even during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we remained open, resilient, and focused, ensuring stability for our staff and families through thoughtful planning and support.
In 2022, Bright Star Early Learning expanded its reach by opening a new location in Rosedale, Maryland, to meet the growing need for quality infant and toddler care in the community. This location was launched with the mission of supporting local families by providing nurturing, developmentally appropriate care during the most critical years of early childhood.
Our Rosedale center continues the Bright Star tradition of creating a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment where even our youngest learners can begin building strong social, emotional, and cognitive foundations.
Today, Bright Star Early Learning operates multiple thriving locations and continues to grow. We’re excited to announce our newest center, coming soon to Rosedale at the former Prince of Peace Childcare location. This expansion allows us to reach even more families and meet the growing demand for high-quality early childhood education in the community.
We believe in the power of connection, curiosity, and compassion. Every step of our journey has been guided by our commitment to children and the conviction that early learning lays the foundation for a lifetime of success.
